In December 2022, more than 140 e-invoicing and e-reporting experts from 26 countries gathered in Singapore for the E-Invoicing Exchange Summit Asia, an international forum dedicated to advancing digital trade and regulatory alignment across the region. Among the contributors was Mr. Manjeet Yadav , who, prior to founding Suma Technology Services LLP, participated in the summit representing the Peppol/e-invoicing service providers viewpoint on the invitation of IMDA.

He was invited to share his perspectives during the panel discussion: "Upcoming Drivers and Shifts for National E-Invoicing Initiatives in Asia-Pacific: The Value of a Common E-Invoicing Standard." Mr. Yadav offered valuable insights into the practical challenges and enablers involved in harmonizing diverse national e-invoicing frameworks with global standards like Peppol, drawing from his experience across multiple APAC markets. The event, hosted in partnership with IMDA Singapore and Valta Technology Group, featured speakers such as Johannes von Mulert, Seong Wah Geok, and Bill Xiao, and was widely appreciated for its collaborative and forward-looking discussions.

Reflecting on the summit, Mr. Yadav shared a unifying thought: "While there are many challenges in achieving a common e-invoicing standard, there is still a possibility to realize it in an interoperable way. The mantra to achieve this is echoed in an ancient Sanskrit verse: 'वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्' — The Earth is One Family. We need more and more people to think in that direction."

This event marked an important milestone in Mr. Yadav's journey as a thought leader in global e-invoicing, a path that would later lead to the founding of Suma Technology Services LLP—an organization committed to enabling interoperability, innovation, and compliance in digital trade networks.
