As part of the event, Mr. Manjeet Yadav, Founder & Managing Partner of Suma, had the privilege of facilitating a roundtable discussion on the topic :
"Challenges and Options for Implementing E-Invoicing".

This interactive session featured diverse perspectives from service providers, businesses, and government authorities addressing the real-world challenges and pathways for scalable, compliant e-invoicing implementation across jurisdictions. It was an honour to host Dr. Rasyidah Che Rosli from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia and Mr. Saiful Izwan Mohd Shazali from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as key contributors to the roundtable, further enriching the discussion with insights from Malaysia's ongoing e-invoicing rollout and Peppol framework adoption.

The Summit came at a pivotal time, as the Ministry of Finance, UAE recently launched a public consultation on the country's upcoming e-invoicing data dictionary, aligned with the Peppol DCTCE model. With mandatory e-invoicing expected by Q2 2026 and supporting legislation anticipated by Q2 2025, the event reinforced the urgency of cross-border collaboration, interoperability and Knowledge-sharing --areas in which Suma actively contributes.
